Real estate transactions and disputes are both areas of law which I have been active in since I first started practicing law nearly two decades ago.  Over the years, real estate became my muse. One day, after lunch with a friend in real estate, it occurred to me that my experience and background are not common among real estate brokers in Oregon.  The logical next step was to obtain a license to broker commercial real estate transactions, which I did within months of that meeting. It was not long after I began my brokering career that I realized my true passion was blending my legal background in real estate with my desire to become a more active participant in the market.  I set out to do real estate development, and never looked back.

It was not long after I began my brokering career that I realized my true passion was blending my legal background in real estate with my desire to become a more active participant in the market.  I set out to do real estate development, and never looked back.  While real estate sales and development ore my passion, I never stray far from the law. Especially as it relates to real estate.  If you engage me to represent you in a real estate transaction or related matter, you are receiving years of experience that will not be found in many attorneys in Oregon.  Because I am active in the real estate market, my palette contains far more colors that someone who solely practices law.  True, specializing in one area of the law will make you savvy in that area.  But being actively involved with the market, I provide real world solutions, not those just based on law books.  My practical experience provides insight into complex real estate issues and that is invaluable to my clients.
